The hotel is perfect, the cafe on the first floor is also red and comfortable, but breakfast is too simple (tuna grilled toast), and it is meaningless to choose a room with breakfast. The hotel is quite quiet and there are quite a lot of types of food. There are two lines near the subway station, and it is located in the southwest of the city center: Sakagu and Omega, and other attractions are far away (Shinjuku, Ginza, etc.) to Super Far (Asakusa, Narita, etc.). I’d highly recommend this for English-speaking travelers.įirst of all, the hotel is sloppy. There are lots of restaurants and stores but it’s not crazy busy like Shibuya. The location is terrific, right near the train station and in the nice mostly residential neighborhood of Yutenji. We took 2 side trips to Kyoto and Shanghai, and the staff was great about storing some of our luggage so we didn’t need to transport all of our heavy suitcases. Free coffee in the lobby was a very nice benefit. But for a 2 week trip, it was SO helpful to have a washer-dryer in the room, as well as a kitchenette. The upside was that we had plenty of sleeping space, the downside was that the futons took up 90% of the room. ![]() We got a triple for 3 adults and had 3 double-sized futons. I think that is the case for any hotel in Tokyo. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but small. Some of the staff’s English is limited, but there was always one person on staff with good English, you just needed to find that person. The staff is friendly, helpful and very accommodating. I will be back.Ī really great choice in terms of extended stay hotels. Eating from the Japanese menus tops it off-sushi, sashimi, wasabi, wagyu beef, tempura, miso soup, udon noodles and sake. Of course Japan is a high tech country-needless to say most room services (door, toilets, ironing or clothes) are automated. Taking a shower is like walking in the rain-no claustrophobic cubicles of modern shower designs. Walk-in closet and bathroom are also generously provided. The kitchen, office, dining and lounge all fused one spacious open plan with spectacular views of Tokyo of greens spaces surrounding urban high rise buildings. ![]() A bit of a cultural surprise, your attendants take off their shoes before entering your room!
